A grassroots dharmic movement

Preserving Dharma & Cultural Heritage. Protecting Jal, Jungle, Jameen.

Birsa Vahini Foundation fights at the roots of society to safeguard our ancient Bharatiya culture and the Water, Forests, and Land on which our Dharma & Cultural Heritage survives.

Our Mission

Dharma & Cultural Heritage is not only faith β€” it is a way of living in harmony with nature and community. Birsa Vahini works where it matters most: in villages and forests, with tribal and marginalized communities, to protect our heritage, our temples, and the living earth that sustains dharma.

Recent Campaigns & Successes

Two urgent works need your support now β€” a Gaushala wall in Tootoli, and shelter for Pauranik Shiva Lingams.

Secure the Tootoli Gaushala

A new Gaushala for Desi Gau Vamsha is rising on three acres behind the 32-foot statue of Hanuman Ji in Tootoli, near Khunti, Jharkhand. The boundary wall must be finished now so the land can be secured before the cow sheds are built.

Protect the Pauranik Shiva Lingams

A dilapidated Shiva temple stands with several-thousand-year-old Pauranik Shiva Lingams lying unsheltered under a tree β€” and another on the tree itself, some 32–33 feet above the ground. A half-built temple is waiting for its dome to be finished so this heritage can be housed and protected.

Every child we reach carries our culture forward

Every child we reach carries our culture forward

In the villages where we work, protecting heritage begins with people β€” feeding a child, restoring a temple, planting a grove, teaching a skill. Your support turns compassion into lasting change.
