The mission
Continuous heavy rainfall submerged villages in Assam, damaged homes, and displaced thousands of families. Many were left without food, clean drinking water, shelter, or medical care, and relief was still underway in several affected districts.
Birsa Vahini Foundation launched the Assam Flood Relief Mission to distribute food packets and ration kits, safe drinking water and hygiene supplies, medicines and emergency medical assistance, blankets, clothing, and other daily essentials for displaced families.
With support from donors, teams were on the ground distributing those essentials. This appeal is now closed. The photographs and recordings on this page are the record of that seva.
